Sunday School

Welcome to Sunday School at Ann Street United Methodist Church!
We strive to create an atmosphere where all are welcome in Jesus’ name, to teach sound doctrine, and to strengthen and nurture each individual’s faith.

9:30 – 9:45am Refreshments in the Fellowship Hall
9:45 – 10:45am Sunday school in the Eure Education Building (the brick building diagonally across the street from the sanctuary)

Adult Sunday School Classes
There are seven adult classes which study a range of topics and books.

Children’s Sunday School Classes
Recognizing the directive from Jesus to “let the little children come unto me” we strive to nurture children in their understanding of Old Testament and New Testament Bible stories. We want all children to know that they are precious children of God, beloved by Him and His Son, Jesus Christ.
Sunday school classes for children focus on stories from the Bible, activities that reinforce those stories, and life application opportunities with David C. Cook’s Wesley curriculum as a primary resource for both children and parents in the Young Adult class. Classes are provided for the following age groups: three and four years old, kindergarten and first grade, second and third grade, fourth and fifth grade.
In the summer, we have our SummerFun rotational Sunday school program which allows our children to learn together at a variety of stations with different kinds of activities, all designed to help them learn and grow closer to God, while having fun at the same time.

Youth Sunday School Classes
The Middle School and Senior High Classes are designed to encourage and develop a strong faith foundation through study of the Bible and life application. The Wesley curriculum from David C. Cook invites families to study the same Bible lessons each week and share them as a family.
